FAM

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation and the Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Foundation have founded a company, Foundations Asset Management, in order to manage the assets of the Foundations, by means of direct ownership as well as through management- and consultancy agreements. The administration of all the Foundations and the donations of all the Wallenberg Foundations is handled through the subsidiary Foundation Administration Management.

FAM's vision is to enable scientific research and education for the benefit of the country by being a committed and value-adding owner.
FAM's ambition is that the Wallenberg Foundations remain Sweden's most respected private funder of scientific research and education by being a committed, long-term and discerning owner of successful companies with an efficient management of research and educational funds as well as supporting the position of research in society.

Hitherto, the Foundations have donated more than 13 billion SEK to research and scholarship-programmes, of which 4,5 billion during the last five years.

> The aim of Foundation Asset Management, FAM, is to manage assets of the company and the Foundations by being discerning and committed.

The aim of the wholly owned subsidiary Foundation Administration Management, FAM is to handle the administration of the Foundations and the donations of all the Wallenberg Foundations as efficiently and responsibly as possible and at the same time strengthen the position of research in society.
